Why Proactive Support

Bio

Most of my day is spent sitting in an office, battling with the computer and occasionally talking on the phone. When you ring Proactive Support it will probably be me who answers, ready to help direct you to the right person who can help you. You may think it sounds a bit boring typing on a keyboard and staring at a screen, but I do actually enjoy it. I get to follow up on lots of things and check up on everyone: staff and participants alike.


I enjoy being part of a dynamic and interesting team of people who are all committed to 

being proactive and not procrastinating about TO DO lists.


For 20 years I worked in Health - mostly at hospitals. I sometimes worked with patients on the wards, and I also worked in IT and as a clinical applications trainer. Now I work from home and I am also studying for a Diploma in Disability Services so I can better support our business.


When I was younger I completed a degree in Arts, majoring in History, then I went and travelled some of the world. Now I mostly read about it in books!


I was manufactured in NZ, am a Christian, enjoy my family and friends and all my chickens! (I have a lot) I play the piano at church and I can also play the flute and harp, but no I am not an angel!
